| The book was very informative, presenting a plethora of information and all that I needed for class and to know the interworkings of the Texas governmental system. Though the book covers Texas politics, which has historically been conservative, the information presented is very fair and unbiased in the results, showing evidence and allowing the reader to come to conclusions. All around a highly rated read. |

| This book gives great info but is very dry. It is hard not to fall asleep reading this. I have read other government text books that were very interesting that I enjoyed reading, so I don't think it was the subject that was boring. If you want to learn Texas Government then this is a good book but check to see if there are any that are more interesting. |
